Hough End Griffins JFC is run entirely by volunteers and we work hard to keep football accessible, inclusive and affordable for local families. We rely heavily on donations, sponsorship money, and the time contributed by our volunteers to keep the club running.
There are three ways that you can support our club:
The support of local businesses helps fund essential equipment, pitch hire, coaching resources and team kits. It also allows us to expand opportunities for young people in the community, including the continued growth of girls’ football and development programmes for players of all abilities.
Sponsoring the club is not only a great way to support grassroots sport - it can also be a positive opportunity for your business. As a sponsor, your brand can be visible across team kits, club communications and social media, reaching hundreds of local families and community members every week.
Many of our sponsors value the chance to be associated with a positive, community-focused organisation that promotes teamwork, wellbeing and opportunities for young people.

Hough End Griffins JFC is now a registered charity. This significant step strengthens our ability to provide safe, inclusive and affordable football for children and young people across South Manchester. It also opens access to new funding opportunities, helping us continue developing the club and supporting our growing number of players.
This also means that donations to the club can now be boosted through Gift Aid. This additional support will help us invest in coaching, equipment, pitch access, leagues, tournaments and new opportunities for our players. If you would like to support the club and help us continue growing grassroots football in the community, you can make a donation here:
Every contribution, big or small, helps us provide more opportunities for young people to play, develop and enjoy football.
We couldn’t run our club without our team of around 100 volunteers.
From coaching and booking pitches, to applying for funding and looking after the welfare of our young players - the smooth running of Hough End Griffins relies on parents and members of the community giving up some of their time.
If you’d like to get involved in any kind of role - big or small - we’d love to hear from you. Contact us at info@houghendgriffins.com and we can have a chat.
