Rotation Policy and Expectation of Players
The fair rotation of players throughout the season is important in giving players the opportunity to develop their skills and experience the roles required in different positions. All players, regardless of their ability will be rotated as fairly as possible throughout the season, giving each player the opportunity of equal and fair game time.
For players to be considered for selection and fair game time, they are expected to:
Show commitment and good behaviour at training sessions and at matches
Attend all training sessions and arrive on time
Contact the coach / team manager in advance to let them know if they are unable to attend a training session or will be late
Arrive at matches on time

2010/11 Season Review
A fantastic first season for the Under 7s. After graduating from Soccer School, the boys were thrown in at the deep end with friendly matches coming thick and fast in October. The boys took it all in their stride and quickly developed into a solid team playing alternative weeks at the Soccer Dome and at Hough End.
Over the winter months, the boys had the luxury of playing indoor matches at Target Fitness, playing two 30-minute games each week. This helped the boys develop not only their football skills, but form friendships and team spirit which is great to see.
From February, we have combined friendly matches on a weekly basis with the occasional tournament – progressing to the quarter-finals stage on three occasions. The commitment, enjoyment and enthusiasm the boys show, particularly in matches, is great to see.
A big thank-you to all the parents for their support in getting to boys to and from training and to home and away matches on a regular basis, especially with some very early morning starts!
It has been a pleasure to watch the boys develop as individual players and as a team, and I look forward to next season playing at in the East Manchester JFL at Curzon Ashton, where I hope we can continue to develop as a team and play some great and enjoyable football.
Under 7's Win Failsworth Summer Tournament
Hough End Griffins Under 7's finished the season in euphoric style by winning the inaugural Failsworth Villa Summer Tournament. At the end of a highly encouraging first season, which has seen the team develop both on and off the pitch, the Griffins overcame Moorside JFC 3-0 in the final with goals from Jaden McColgan (2) and Micah Hamilton.
